If you’re someone who spends¬†at least 2 hours a day on YouTube, chances are that you’ve come across one of Lilly‘s videos. Popularly known as Superwoman, her videos are both outrageously funny and¬†highly¬†relatable.

Love who you are, embrace who you are. Love yourself. When you love yourself, people can kind of pick up on that: they can see confidence, they can see self-esteem, and naturally, people gravitate towards you. –¬†Lilly Singh

Superwoman

Lilly Singh is a Canadian YouTuber of Indian origin who has established a name for herself in the online community. She runs a successful YouTube channel that has over¬†10 million subscribers.¬†The story behind why she started the channel is as quaint as is it can get. The only reason Lilly¬†started her channel was that she was sad and depressed and wanted to make people happy. Well, after¬†6 years of doing this for a career, you could say that she’s pretty good at it. She is an embodiment of awesomeness that only a few can rub shoulders with¬†and¬†has inspired a generation of youngsters to go out there and live their dreams. She is reported to earn close to $2 million a year and drives a Tesla.

What she does

Lilly is a comedian, actress, rapper and an immensely popular YouTuber¬†who¬†has made it a habit to upload 2 videos a week, one on Monday and another on Thursday.¬†These videos range from comedy to rants, to motivational messages that she writes, shoots and edits all by herself. She also does a live stream called “Ask Superwoman Live” on the 14th of every month where she answers questions posted by fans on various social platforms. Lilly¬†also vlogs every day (kinda addicting watching these) – you could watch her daily vlogs by subscribing to SuperwomanVlogs, a dedicated vlog channel. She uses her popularity for good; speaking against issues that plague modern society and offering hope to those who feel down in life. Most of her events have¬†massive turnouts and she is constantly travelling the world spreading #GirlLove.

#GirlLove

In December 2015, Lilly initiated a campaign to¬†break the cycle of girl-on-girl hate –¬†GirlLove. She has had a lot of fellow YouTubers help out in taking this message across.

Lilly believes that for a better world, we need to support one another with all our weaknesses and experiences that we commonly share. Since 84% of her viewers are female, she hopes to get her message across to her 8M+ female fan base.

Notable mentions

Lilly has had the privilege to work with some of the biggest names in the industry. Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and Dwayne Johnson are some of the celebrities that she’s worked with. Not just that, but she helped Dwayne Johnson set up his YouTube channel and had him feature on her video.¬†Not many of us can say that we’ve done that now, can we?

To catch Lilly in all her madness, please subscribe to her channel and never miss out on another video.
One love superwoman that is a wrap and zoop!!!!
